Slightly less smol update


A FUNCTIONING PAUSE MENU wooo!

Once again, thanks to astute observations by our #1 and only commenter (so far) Pretty Ok Games, I realized before too long (but not before about a week of frustration and learnding) that a virtual cursor for controller input is overkill for a simple menu navigation system, and so I switched gears to Unity's default UI navigation system.  It's funny how incorrect assumptions like the one I made can lead you down some seriously twisted (dust) bunny holes.

New as of the latest build:

  • Keyboard Tab or Controller East button Pause Menu toggle
  • Left Mouse Click or Controller South button Click/Confirm
  • Rudimentary Settings panel with Volume controls
  • Slightly more useful Instructions at startup

Next up:

  • Adding obstacles to higher levels
  • Updating UI art/font
  • More audio, and juice
  • Adding a button to display instructions
  • Starting to add dust bunny variants
