Leveled Up! v 0.3.0
I don't know if I'm doing this versioning correctly but this is a major update to ME. Dust Bunny Sweeper version 0.3.0 features an all new Level Select system accessed via the Pause Menu (Tab or East button)!
From the Level Select screen, you can return to any already completed (unlocked) level. This update also includes a new win screen when you reach the last level (subject to change) where you can return to any previous level.
The player prefs should save your progress between sessions, but I apologize that I am pretty sure that gets wiped out with each new version I publish. I promise to note in a devlog when I think I'm at the last version update (for a while, at least, as part of the joy of developing this game has been implementing all the silly new dust bunny variants I think of, and I have more more MORE!!!)
Next up I plan to finally add the Kenney input icons I purchased, to show which controls do what, and leave a little bread crumb on screen (Get it? That's a sweeping joke.) to remind you how to access the instructions. I also have new cover art in the works that I'm considering adding in stages, more audio, more juice (UI animations maybe?), and at least three new dust bunny VARIANTS ooooooh ahhhhhh.
Till next time.
*Editing to add: Oh no! I've found that my controller button navigation is currently broken once you get to the Level Select and Settings. I am so sorry! I will prioritize getting this fixed.
