Quick Fix

Realized that the previously unannounced addition of a Y axis look toggle wasn't highlighting which made it useless in gamepad mode, and threw a stack overflow exception (my first time, I feel so legit now!)

Fixed allll that, and since it was already in there, added Crouch functionality (ETA oops, guess that's not true, coming soon!!), updated the Instructions panel, and updated all text to the very cool, very thematically appropriate (purchased) dyslexia-friendly font Open Dyslexic.

Jus played the newest version (March 29, 2025) and I have a few notes/suggestions:

- The menu/ui select button is the west button (X / Square) on the controller, but I think it should be the south button (A / Cross)

- Mouse movement is incredibly fast, a setting to change that would be nice

- Some particles spawning/a level complete sound after you complete a level would be nice

- The red hyperactive dust bunnies were a great challenge!

- Perhaps you can include a level where there are dust bunnies on a separate platform along with a switch that you have to jump over to. The switch could activate a bridge allowing you to actually sweep up the dust bunnies into the pan

Overall, I like it. Great updates so far👍🏼

Excellent suggestions as usual!  Really appreciate your feedback.

I implemented a mouse speed adjustment in the Settings panel!  I wasn't noticing the speed before, so I'd love to know if you feel this helps, or if I need to make it more extreme.

I am so glad you liked the red bunnies!  They like you too 🤩

I cannot WAIT to implement particles and sound effects.  That's one of my favorite parts!  THOON

Thank you again for your input!

I tried the latest build and I set my mouse speed to 1 and it was still kinda fast. 10 was incredibly fast, as it should be. If it's not too fast on your end, then there could be a WebGL bug. Perhaps you could divide the speed by 10?

Thank you again for sharing your experience again! Years ago I was aware that every browser handles the mouse speed in WebGL players differently, so I just implemented my old approach, but I don't know whether the browser handling or WebGL have changed if at all, so I will do a little research and attempt your suggestion of halving it again 😁.

I fixed the whole scale debacle, and tried reducing the mouse speed a tenth in the process.  Let me know if it still needs tweaking!

I just played the newest version, and the mouse look speed is working great for me.  I haven't noticed anything different about the scale of the game, so I guess that was a total success. Great job keeping everything together. I enjoyed knocking down the furniture to get to the dust bunny in Level 7. I think it would be nice if the furniture reset back to its normal position when you restart the level, so I can knock it down again. While not necessary, replacing the keyboard/controller prompts with actual images would look good. These are some public domain prompts: Input Prompts · Kenney. I think you should keep going. I can see Dust Bunny Sweeper becoming a complete (and maybe commercial) game one day.

Your feedback is the best!  I love the Kenney assets, thank you for reminding me about their existence :D

I'm so glad the mouse speed adjustment helped, and that you enjoyed knocking down the furniture!  I cackled so hard at, "so I can knock it down again."  That's perfect!  I completely forgot to reset them when I reset the level.  Thank you for flagging that too.

Thank you SO SO much for the encouragement and feedback.  It makes this fun stuff even more rewarding!
